Join us for a 2-day intensive training with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang on Tibetan moxibustion (me btsa), one of the most important external therapies of Sowa Rigpa.
Tibetan moxibustion is an ancient fire healing therapy that applies heat from Artemisia (mugwort) to specific therapeutic points known as sang (secret points). These points regulate the body’s energy channels (tsa) and support the balance of rlung (wind), blood, and bodily fluids.
Moxa therapy is traditionally used to:
Warm and strengthen metabolism
Disperse stagnation and cold
Support circulation and vital energy
Address stress-related disorders, joint pain, digestive weakness, and neurological conditions
This workshop is suitable for students and practitioners of Tibetan medicine, bodyworkers, and therapists interested in traditional heat therapies.
Format & Participation
Duration: 2 full teaching days
Location: Väluste kool, Viljandi vald, Viljandi maakond, 69704, Estonia
Format: In person only
In-person participation is limited to 30 students due to space constraints. Early registration is strongly recommended to ensure your spot!

About Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
Dr. Nida Chenagtsang is a Tibetan physician and lineage holder of the Sowa Rigpa tradition. Trained in Tibet, he has dedicated his life to preserving and sharing Traditional Tibetan Medicine and its external healing therapies worldwide.
He is the founder of the Sorig Institute and is known for his clear, practical, and inspiring teaching style.
