Support Our Growth
Our Living Schoolhouse Project: Restoring a Space for Learning and Healing
Our school is more than just a place to learn; it’s a work in progress. We are restoring our old schoolhouse in Väluste to become a vibrant center for Sowa Rigpa education, external therapy treatments, retreats, and community wellbeing.
With help from devoted volunteers and skilled workers, we are keeping the building’s original beauty while caring for the environment, using green building methods that respect both tradition and the environment.
Your support will help us preserve this historic space and transform it into a sanctuary for healing, study, and compassionate service.
The Väluste Schoolhouse, built in 1865 near Lake Võrtsjärv, Estonia, began as a local educational center in 1829, serving primary, secondary, and kindergarten levels until closing in the early 2010s due to population decline.
In 2015, inspired by a vision of Vajrapani and Ekajati, Dr. Nida Chenagtsang and the Estonian Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine revitalized the site as a Tibetan Medicine School and Healing Center.
Since then, it has been hosting over 200 students from 20+ countries, fostering learning and spiritual growth.
Our center is made possible by the help of devoted volunteers and generous donations.
Contributions of any kind are highly appreciated.
